The model followed in the development of Durgapur is akin to the Mumbai and pune vemodel. It is expected that Durgapur will also deliver similar growth facility in this area too.
Similar to Mumbai-Pune, Durgapur is also well connected by a high quality highway (Durgapur Expressway), which is part of the golden quadrilateral network. Apart from this it is also having major rail link with Kolkata, Delhi and the rest of india.
